These Terms of Service apply to every visit to josephineandlucy.com and to every order placed with Josephine & Lucy, a store operated by SWJ ecom. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Josephine & Lucy is operated by SWJ ecom, a company registered in the Netherlands (KvK 42151389). Our full company details are listed at the bottom of this page.

Use of our website

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial shopping only. You agree not to misuse the site, for example by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, or copying content for commercial use. You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order.

Products and descriptions

We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colors may look slightly different depending on your screen, and sizes may vary slightly due to production tolerances. Please check our Size Guide before ordering.

Prices

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Shipping within the United States is free. If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after you have received an order confirmation.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. The order confirmation email confirms that we received your order. It does not yet mean that the order has been accepted. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if we suspect fraud, or if there is a pricing error. If that happens after you have paid, we refund the full amount to your original payment method.

Payment

Payment is due at checkout and is processed securely by Shopify Payments. You can pay with the payment methods shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card details.

Discounts

Any promotions or discount codes are clearly shown on our website and applied at checkout during the period in which they are offered. Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash.

Shipping and delivery

We ship to addresses in the United States only. Processing and delivery times are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

Returns and refunds

You can return items within 30 days of receiving your order, under the conditions described in our Return & Refund Policy. Always email us first. Never ship a return before you have received our written confirmation and the return address.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to Josephine & Lucy or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of the country or state where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
